Yo yo @Polymarket Belivers
Today I decided to share my story about my activity on the site, which has already been making waves everywhere.
For several months now, I’ve been actively trying to predict various events, the statistics for which you can see on the screen.
I tried my hand at various approaches, which gave me a diverse range of experience. From this, I drew certain conclusions: I stuck with some and set others aside.
My start wasn’t very good; I almost always ended up in the red and reached a balance of -$260 (I don’t work with large sums).
So let’s go over some of them:
Dota 2 /LOL — this game has been a significant part of my profit and growth; in it, you can realistically predict a team’s chances of winning by evaluating the team drafts and identifying which players dominate during the game. The key is not to rush and not to bet too early, since upsets can happen anywhere.
Conclusion: 8.2/10
Counter Strike 2 — not the best part, but I’ve had quite a bit of it. From my experience, I’d say it’s hard to predict anything here, since even top teams can lose to underdogs due to simple bad luck.
Conclusion: 4.5/10
Tennis — good category. I wasn’t very familiar with it until I started betting. First and foremost, you need to analyze the players and their world rankings, their previous matches, and so on. There are also instances where the human factor comes into play, so you always have to be careful.
Conclusion: 6.5/10
Crypto — for me, it’s almost like roulette. In the short term, you can only count on luck; otherwise, I wouldn’t say so (I’ve seen people jump in at the last minute because the outcome is already clearer by then). Any event can drastically affect the price, so it’s not really my thing.
Conclusion: 2/10
Weather – a very interesting aspect of the story. I tried this one too. Once I stumbled upon an account with good stats because the events there were almost guaranteed. Here you can make a steady profit with high turnover by spreading your budget across events.
However, in my opinion, there’s a risk of being spammed with predictions, since there can be 50+ of them a day
I tried them for a while, but I don’t plan to continue for now.
Conclusion: 7.5/10
Soccer/NBA — how could we leave these out? I’m not a strong analyst in this area, but my track record includes both wins and losses. In this case, it’s better to stick with something more obvious so as not to tempt fate. Even top teams have their share of wins and losses, so it might be worth looking at totals and the like. If you think a certain team is stronger, you can put your analysis to the test, but that’s your call.
Conclusion: 6/10
I think these stats are pretty good, based on the leaderboard data.
I hope to see a four-digit increase soon.
