Building ☁️ systems at @awscloud, previously automating 💸 financial workflows at @candis_io. Personal opinions.

So yeah… I had to build something with the new @figmadesign API.
It's 🔥🔥🔥 Here I am syncing assets to a local project, converting them to React components and creating stories. Next up styled-components. #design #engineering

I will not use any more bloated tools…
Great read. Very relatable.

@suhailpatel Conferences, certifications and workshops. @patkua workshop on tech lead skills for developers helped me a lot a few years ago. I get a lot of value from talking to random people at conferences too.

💯 Using the „not-wrong“ tool for the job can be one of the best tradeoffs you can do to keep things simple and manageable.

[Pete Hunt 🚁 @floydophone]

We were already running Postgres, and in our opinion, it's better to use the "not-wrong" tool for the job rather than the "right" one if it means you can avoid running additional infrastructure (2/4)

@GergelyOrosz @incident_io Great initiative! Looking forward to the results. Small suggestion: perhaps asking for location is useful as local regulations might create some big differences.

@GergelyOrosz @HashiCorp has some great content on there approach to RFCs. https://t.co/Xg7rizbaWE

@opalelectronics @opalelectronics where am I supposed to put the camera lid though? Feels like there should be a magnetic spot on the device when using it.

[Florian Nagel @_floriannagel]

👏Seriously impressive work @opalelectronics. Stunning packaging and so far a flawless experience using it. Really liking all of the little details so far.

[Fabian Jakobs 👾 @fjakobs]

I was always dreaming of integration tests that operate on fresh accounts.

- create account
- deploy service
- run tests
- delete account

This might be possible now.

My team released @awscloud Device Farm support for @webdriverio this week. ✨ Check it out for cross-browser e2e testing and don’t forget to leave a star while you're on GitHub. Great job everyone. 👏

[WebdriverIO @webdriverio]
