Most of you that run football pages on here have probably never kicked a ball in your life.
You’re defending and fighting for your life in the last few seconds of the game, barely being able to make full contact with the ball but still expecting to fine tune your clearance so that it avoids a player who almost never scores a goal?
Yesterday’s game hurt but let’s not go overboard with the blame game.
I gotta remind myself every time I talk about any sport on here that there's just a lot of people who haven't done anything athletic in their life let alone play the specific sport they're a fan of.
I genuinely think this Manchester United squad is good enough to compete, but Carrick has to use it properly. Mainoo should be starting. Dorgu should be playing left-back, not left wing. I’d also bring Šeško off the bench for now and let him grow into the starting role.
If Amad is back, I’d play Mbeumo through the middle and Amad on the right. Cunha and Rashford can rotate depending on the opponent and form.
In midfield, Tielemans should start when now Baleba isn’t available. Once Baleba is fit, then Carrick has a to start Mainoo and Baleba. Tielemans to substitute Mainoo why Santos to Substitute Baleba. The quality is there. Now I want to see Carrick get the best out of it.
