Think this every year but I honestly thinking watching Love Island with commentary and discussion would be an excellent PSHE course in sex and relationship education (minus the lack of queer representation ofc). Gaslighting, consent, ownership of own body etc etc

The inherently exhausting nature of teaching is never noted by those who’ve never experienced it. Teaching is performance, it’s acting. Imagine a west end performer on 6 shows a day. 30 little people who can all change by the second to react to. Thrilling but requires all of you!

I've worked with three young people this week alone, who attempted suicide due to significant distress around their sexuality.

We've come a long way but one thing they all said struck me. 'People presume everyone is heterosexual so it's hard.'
