I understand. Truly.
It can be painful to watch people who don’t pray seem to succeed. But let me gently say this: prayer was never meant to be an ATM.
When Jesus fed the 5,000, they came back the next day asking for more bread. But this time He didn’t give them bread, He told them He Himself was the Bread of Life.
Why?
Because God wants us to grow from being babes who seek Him only for the bread He gives, to sons who seek Him for the bread He is.
God is not a genie. He’s not someone we knock on only when we need something.
He is God.
And we pray because we are the sheep of His pasture, because He is worthy, because communion with Him is a privilege.
Prayer is not transactional.
Prayer is communication.
Prayer is alignment.
Prayer doesn’t move God’s hand; prayer moves us into God’s will.
I know many teachings have pushed us into a “give me, give me, my name is Jimmy” mindset, where every prayer moment is a shopping list. But God wants you to grow deeper. To know His heart. To enjoy His presence.
Now, about people succeeding without praying: the Bible already explains it.
God is just. And He created the world with principles that work for anyone who applies them.
“As long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will not cease.”
He makes the sun shine on the righteous and the wicked.
So if someone follows the principles for success, they will succeed, saved or not.
But here’s your advantage as a believer: the prophetic edge.
You have the Holy Spirit guiding your steps.
You have divine warnings and divine nudges.
You have supernatural orchestrations that align you with destiny.
You have favour and preservation.
You have authority over the enemy’s attempts.
And remember this:
The world’s definition of success is not God’s definition. Many people look successful on the outside but are bankrupt in peace, purpose, and identity. God’s success is holistic; it blesses, it preserves, and it lasts.
So trust God.
Do your part.
Work hard, stay faithful, stay aligned.
You will see good success and it will be success with peace, purpose, and preservation.
Love and Light my Sister
"Can I call you"? is so attractive
But no, please you can't call me because five months from now we're gonna be strangers and I'd have messed up my sleep cycle for nothing.
Enjoy your night, respectfully.
I honestly didn’t realize how difficult it is to FIND YOUR OWN PERSON until now that I’m looking forward to getting married.
Bro!!! Finding someone to just date and finding someone to marry are two different hustles.
I honestly want to make my next relationship my last because I actually don taya😂
I respect ppl who’ve mastered detachment bc they’ve accepted something most ppl spend their whole lives resisting: you don’t get to keep anything here. Not the person, job or even the version of yourself you’re clinging to. Let me explain…
Vibe coding leads to short term speed but doesn't lead to increased mastery over code. People new to coding should probably configure their agents to occasionally teach them things about how the code works, or what the root cause of a bug was to mitigate this trap of mediocrity.
Someone should make a course that teaches vibe coders high level engineering skills/lessons. Such as:
• Basics of Git
• Separation of concerns, DRY, YAGNI, Encapsulation, Single responsibility principle
• Pure functions = testable
• Modular file structures
• Linting and naming conventions
• Testing techniques
• Schema validation
• Importance of type safety
• The power of Regex
• REST vs GraphQL tradeoffs
• Glimpse at power of the command line (jq, grep, awk, ffmpeg, etc)
• DB optimization & indexing
• DB/storage security
• Caching
• Managing environments
• Observability: logs, KPIs, etc
• Abuse prevention & rate limiting
• Secrets management
• Throttling, debounce, back pressure
• Graceful degradation
• Why PRDs matter
