Staying in cash has aged well. Took a very small position in $HLIT but other than that just observing. I thought I liked a couple entries yesterday but they kept going down. I may miss out, but I donβt have clarity yet, so I wait.
This may be a simp or naive take on $ASTS but I think that what a lot of people miss in the comparison to Starlink is the value in wirelessness. What I mean by that is there is a lot of value in having wireless internet where a tech doesn't have to come to your house and pull connectivity from the street and wire it into your house. It is truly novel to just plug in a device and pull internet. And there are lots of places where internet is very bad, very controlled, or otherwise restricted.
Mobile phones on the other hand are already wireless. There is no novelty there. To be sure there are lots of places on earth with bad reception, but by and large, where the bulk of people are daily, connectivity is just fine. I don't see a huge omg moment on that side of things to drive huge valuations.
