Exactly a week ago today, Greens won the Queen’s Park by-election, and I officially started working as a councillor.

We won with a decisive 48.4% of the vote and a huge swing from Labour to Green.

But it wasn’t just a victory for Greens.

Ministers must not allow this guidance to come into force. The violations of the basic human right to exist in privacy will be legion, and obviously not just for trans people. If the laws as written need clarifying to fix this, they absolutely must step up and propose changes.
