As a Sikh, this hurts deeply.
Our Gurus taught us sewa, humility, compassion and dignity for every human being. A Gurdwara is supposed to be the safest place for anyone in the world - regardless of religion, language, nationality or appearance.
If celebrities, influencers or powerful people are allowed to click pictures and roam freely, but ordinary families or tourists are insulted, threatened or humiliated publicly in the name of “beadbi,” then something is going terribly wrong.
Faith should inspire respect, not fear.
No innocent man, woman or child should leave a holy place carrying trauma, embarrassment or hatred in their heart.
A few radicals do not represent Sikhi.
Please don’t let anger and mob behaviour damage the image of a religion built on sacrifice, equality and humanity. We must condemn such acts openly instead of defending them just because “our side” did it.
See, I know TN has this strong culture of hero worship. M. G. R & Jayalalithaa were actors, but they didn’t just walk into power.
MGR had ~20 years of groundwork before becoming CM. Jayalalithaa was with MGR & then fought her own brutal internal battle to rise.
But Vijay ?? … He didn't do any ground work & all votes are out of his fandom, right ?
So let’s be real, if this same thing happened in any North Indian state, where an actor with zero political groundwork becomes CM or gets this many votes., you people would have shamed the entire North. Which you already do that even now...
So the question is, The South gets this image of being politically “aware” no matter what, but the North doesn’t get that same benefit, right ? I’m saying this because Maithili Thakur still receives hate.

RIL Media Statement
At a time when global energy markets are experiencing volatility, ensuring uninterrupted access to essential fuels for Indian households remains a national priority.
Reliance Industries is taking proactive steps and in line with the Government guidelines, to maximize LPG production from our refining and petrochemicals complexes at Jamnagar — the world’s largest integrated refining hub. Our teams are working around the clock to optimize refinery operations and enhance LPG output so that supplies to the domestic market remain stable and reliable.
At the same time, natural gas produced from the KG‑D6 Basin will be diverted to support supply to priority sectors, in line with national energy priorities and Government guidelines.
For Reliance, India’s energy security and the well-being of millions of Indian families always come first. We will continue to work closely with the Government of India and remain fully compliant with all national guidelines and allocation priorities, ensuring that energy supplies reach the sectors and communities that need them the most.
As always, Reliance will stand firmly with the nation in its time of need. In times of global uncertainty, we remain committed to doing everything possible to support India’s energy security and ensure reliable access to essential fuels for the country.

This picture - both Indians, similar situations.
2022 – Virat Kohli had to clear bigger boundaries in a high-pressure contest against arch-rivals Pakistan, when almost everyone thought the game was over for India - except him.
2026 – Jasprit Bumrah had to restrict boundaries on a smaller ground where batters were hitting sixes for fun, in a tense semi-final when everyone expected him to deliver dot balls because he was India’s only hope.
India has produced some of the greatest cricketers of all time.
