There is nothing in the Indus Water Treaty which says that we can not exit the treaty.
There is nothing in the Treaty which says that this treaty is forever.
This treaty is a bilateral document...the World bank was/is only a facilitator.
If India wants to walk away there are many reasons to do so.
When there are material changes in the circumstances which govern a bilateral treaty and one side feels it is against its interests to be in the treaty, it is fully within its rights to exit the treaty.
I have explained these issues in the video.

Perhaps it’s time to streamline the process. Keep a master sheet with all the signatures permanently on file. The next time someone accused or convicted of working against India’s interests needs a petition, all that’s left is to fill in the name and hit ‘Print’.

One small problem, though.
