A forensic report reveals Mpumalanga Tourism CEO Mduduzi Vilakazi approved millions for a non-existent visitor centre at the Makhonjwa Mountains World Heritage Site.

🌳 Investigators found nothing but untouched bush — yet R9.8 MILLION was paid out.
💸 Contracts up to R55M were approved beyond his authority.
📄 The report recommending criminal charges? Buried since May.

Now the question is — why would the @MYANC-led provincial government suppress the report instead of acting on it?

🤔 To protect comrades in the tender network?
🤔 To avoid political embarrassment before elections?
🤔 Because the rot runs too deep in ANC patronage structures?

If the ANC is innocent, why hide the evidence?
Why not act on its own investigators’ findings?

Until there’s accountability, this remains yet another cover-up of corruption in a province where accountability is optional.
