@LizClements This proposal does the exact opposite of what it claims. It pushes traffic away from a main road (the road you live on!) on to a minor road. #conflictofinterests
@nazihfares It's an intentionally loose grouping since we're not 100% certain about dates yet, based around the year being split into early/mid/late periods of four months. Note that these are just estimates, and we'll update them as things become clearer!
@Daeraloth@playdate Then their Playdate is sent to the address they gave when ordering. They could have updated their delivery details at any point since. The final confirmation email Panic has sent is just an extra courtesy.
@ThePotatobird@playdate This is what I'm hoping for π€
Part of the of the success Wordle type games is that everyone plays the same game on the same day. It becomes a share experience rather than in isolation.
@playdate No you didnt say that, I meant we're still waiting (ever hopeful) for the "shipping next week" message to come.
We never had an update that the batteries were no longer an issue...
@playdate@jonathanDwhitt@PaintedDurian Yep daily updates would be OTT.
But none has had us all on tenterhooks for the last 4 months waiting for your "batteries fixed, shipping next week" tweet. Sounds like you've had more problems that just π
It would be a relief to know when we won't get Playdates, to stop the π
@jonathanDwhitt@playdate@PaintedDurian Okay Champ.
But you seem to think I'm asking "why haven't I got my playdate yet".
I'm just suggesting it would be nice to have an update once in while, the last one (batteries) was almost 4 months ago!
@playdate@PaintedDurian This is a massive misstep IMHO.
A loose date makes it sound like you don't have control of the production or arent that bothered when you ship. Transparency would be to give us a date and then updates on progress.
You have our support and we want to be on the journey with you!
