Another big @HYTOPIAgg update - we've just wrapped up the initial, baseline contract implementation for on-chain player accounts.

This is a very significant milestone and has been a work in progress for months, however the significance of this milestone won't be evident until it's tied into a full implementation of player systems and able to be experienced end to end.

These systems are on the absolute bleeding edge of innovation for the greater web3 space in general, and extend concepts of eip4337 as well as implement many lacking mechanisms that nearly any mainstream web3 game is going to need.

In the context of HYTOPIA, what's this mean?

1. Players will be able to join and play HYTOPIA by registering/logging in with either their email address or Discord account.

2. A SCA (smart contract account, effectively a wallet that is implemented as a smart contract to allow greater functionality) wallet will be provisioned behind the scenes and tied to their player account, their credentials tied to their login information (email or discord) acts as the controller of the undelying on-chain SCA wallet. The mechanism of control is very similar to sequence wallet.

3. Our implementation unlocks A WHOOOLE LOT of things that otherwise are not possible in evm chains out of the box, but will be for HYTOPIA.

These include but are not limited to..

- Subscription based payments - enable recurring payments without having to submit tx's on your end to pay balances due, people can also request you to approve subscriptions

- Account sessions - You can approve 3rd parties to get very granular session based access to assets held in your player account as needed.

- Account recovery- Lose access to your email/Discord? No problem, you can enable a number of different account recovery options.

- Gasless tx's - Your SCA wallet can interact gaslessly by default with any contract. HYTOPIA operates a centralized relay intended for player accounts to remove all aspects of frictions. EIP1559 base fees of tx's are refunded back to this relay to maintain it's operation.

- SCA signatures - By default, smart contracts cannot generate valid signatures. Our implementation enables this.

- Consistent cross-chain addresses - Player accounts on the HYTOPIA chain can be fully ported to any other EVM chain while retaining the same contract address.

- And more - We'll drop more details as these systems get closer to implemented release

4. A combination of all of our systems for players is going to enable a fully frictionless experience. Players never have to touch gas, deal with tx's or popups, or even know that "crypto" is involved. All aspects of HYTOPIA in-game and external systems such as the marketplace will function as you'd expect in a non-crypto game. Actions performed by players that trigger tx's will also be subsecond, meeting latency expectations gamers typically have.
