last night i made a point to keep my notes app open to record the brilliant ideas i've been getting in the middle of the night that i can never recall... when i woke up this morning i excitedly checked my notes and found... "clarity and after sidewalk breakfast time"

a friend announced the passing of his 30/yo nephew. never met him but sumn was nagging at me about this. then i remembered - when we were teens, this friend mentioned "my bro & his gf just had a baby boy" - the one other time i heard of this person was when he was first born 😢
