What’s concerning is that my Kerala-registered bike was the only one locked, while several others parked similarly remained untouched. With no proof of payment, I can’t file a complaint, but I’m sharing this to warn others. Is this a legal initiative @kmangalaps ?

This morning, I found a notice from the Koramangala police station advising vehicle owners to use safety locks and GPS trackers. To my surprise, my bike’s front disc was locked with a GPS device.

When I called the number on the notice, I was asked to visit the station, where they claimed it was installed for my safety and charged me ₹500—without a bill or receipt—for a device that costs around ₹200 online.
