If this holds, particularly with the "Kamala is for they/them" last-minute ad push, it is going to inspire Canadian conservatives to lean even further into dark transphobia in the coming months and years.
The BC Conservatives rebranded to take on the NDP (with a Canucks-inspired logo, says the ED).
But the bigger branding story: the party attracted people looking for a true blue conservative home, filtering out controversies as "noise."

"While racism was frowned upon, it was not a big deal — certainly not a big enough deal to smother the goal of winning."

I spoke with First Nations leaders in BC about what a Conservative win could mean for reconciliation. They were blunt — not good.
The Conservative Party didn't respond to questions or make anyone available for an interview.
My latest for @TheTyee.
