"Your great-grandmother was not trying to manifest a beach vacation. She was not curating an aesthetic. She was not optimizing...anything. She had a list, and the list was short, and the list was sacred.
A full pantry. Healthy children. A roof that did not leak. A husband who came home. A garden that produced. A few good dresses. A reliable stove. Sunday dinner with people she loved. Enough flour for the week and enough kindness for the neighbors.
That was the whole dream. That was the whole life. And by the standards of most of human history, achieving that list was a roaring success.
Then the twentieth century happened, and somebody figured out that a woman who is content is terrible for business. A woman with a full pantry is not running to the store. A woman who is satisfied with her kitchen is not redoing it every four years. A woman who knows what enough looks like cannot be sold the next thing.
So they got to work. They made the small house embarrassing. They made the old car embarrassing. They made the home-cooked meal embarrassing, and then when nobody knew how to cook anymore they sold it back as a meal kit with a celebrity chef on the box. They raised the cost of living until both parents had to work, and then they sold daycare and convenience food and weekend therapy to fix the exhaustion that working both jobs created in the first place.
They took your great-grandmother's list and called it poverty. They took her life and called it limited. They took her contentment and called it a lack of ambition.
And then they sold you ambition. They sold you a bigger house you cannot clean, a car you cannot pay off, a wardrobe you do not wear, a calendar you cannot survive, and a vague constant feeling that you are still falling behind.
You are not falling behind. You are running a race that was designed to have no finish line. The race itself is the product.

the size of your life is up to you. that thought should terrify you and thrill you in the same breath. everything you are not is a choice. every limit is self imposed. every ounce of potential you haven’t touched is sitting there waiting for a version of you willing to reach for it. you can have anything you are willing to work for. so go work. go take it. stop admiring the life from a distance and go grab it.
Social media algorithms are DEMONS feeding off your attention. They’re 24/7 studying your patterns and manipulating your behaviour so you can’t stop scrolling. Your focus is being stolen by an infinite slop machine that puts you into a hypnotic trance of mind numbing. Days blur together. You’ve forgotten your soul. They’re hijacking your identity and turning you into slop in human form. You can’t stop shaking your hands when you hear 67. You’re losing your soul, time and life. When you aren’t being hypnotised, you’re filled with anxiety and dread (YOU’RE LITERALLY ADDICTED). Your natural reward system (DOPAMINE) has been HACKED. If you have the COURAGE to move through the dread. You’ll see the glimmer of your soul. The Jewel lying in the ground. Shining BRIGHTLY. Stop filling your ground (MIND) up with slop (BRAINROT). The slop drains out by itself if you stop consuming it. The Jewel (YOUR SOUL) lies in there in all it’s beauty and you see that it’s the oracle reflecting your dreams. LIVE MY FRIENDS. Attention is the most valuable thing we have. Stop allowing yourself to be FARMED by slop factories. The greatest time in history is among us. Make the most of your reason and CREATE what is most beautiful to you.
Doomscrolling is a black magic ritual. You lay in the same position. Turn off the lights, deeply focused on the feed. You’re shown memes, tragedies and “useful” information (it’s all slop) and before you know it you’re stuck in a trance. Your thumb moves without thought. You’re in flow but it’s artificially engineered by the dopamine loops the algo was built to trigger. You remember you have things to do but the black mirror pulls you in deeper by showing you something that stimulates you more. Before you know it, all your free time is gone. Every original idea you may have had is gone. You’re polluted with open loops and feel restless all the time. Every day you go to your altar (your bed), pull out your rosary (your ig feed) and you endlessly worship slop. Time blurs together and years have gone by yet you repeat the same pattern. Why? because you’ve never been taught how to engage with your own boredom, with your own pain, with your own discomfort. You resist it like it’s killing you, but what’s killing you is what you’ve turned into a part of your life (scrolling). It’s inverted. If you simply learned how to be courageous and face your immediate discomfort with pain and boredom. You’ll allow your natural wisdom and creativity to rise and begin living a life you truly want to live.
In life, you must choose your regrets.
“You'll regret it if you get married. You'll regret it if you don't get married. You'll regret it if you have kids, and you'll regret it if you don't.
Kierkegaard said this 200 years ago as follows:
‘Whatever you choose, you'll regret it. Because the problem isn't in your choices; it's in romanticizing a life you haven't lived.
A person always finds an untraveled path alluring and mysterious.
That's why the issue isn't making the right choice.
It's choosing and deciding which regret you'll live with.’
What have you decided?” — Salih Guney
Major cheat code for life: Master the art of the fresh start. From a bad morning. From a bad interaction. From a missed workout. From a poor decision. The goal isn't to avoid the fall. It's to shorten the time between the fall and the reset. Fast recovery compounds.
The final stage of healing is becoming a fucking weirdo again. Where you’re so powerful and so free inside yourself you just don’t give a shit. It’s all art. It’s all life. It’s all beautiful. That’s the fucking point.
Believers, we must guard our hearts against these modern idols:
• The desire for constant comfort
• The pursuit of worldly wealth
• The obsession with human approval
Only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
