This weekend hit it off great with some girl in the city same views on dating and other interests and still got ghosted but guess what if I never approached her it was a 100% chance of rejection
Keep applying pressure boys but also if you have something you’re working on with true conviction don’t make a permanent decision off temporary emotion
Stay focused on the vision
When one door closes another opens
Still wild to me how many people my age are heavy on dating apps. I’ve been on them since like 16 (don’t ask lol), but now I see they’re mostly just loops of validation & attention-seeking.
If your goal is to genuinely meet someone, you’re better off being social, going out, and building a life you love. I deleted all the apps—I just cold approach now. Life got seamlessly better.
Also: if you’re a man in business, it’s one or the other. Dating takes emotional energy. If you want to win, be intentional—build a relationship with your purpose first.
Some people don’t even have parents.
What you’re feeling is understandable but with all that information and energy you have now
Do something with it.
Don’t be the byproduct of playing the blame game on your parents
i'm so jealous of people who have technical parents - you don't know how lucky you are, how much of a gift you've been given - whether it be business technical, finance technical, science technical, computer technical, etc, every skill tree has a technical backend for it
i love my parents, but i've had to teach myself everything and there's alot of times in my life i wish i had someone in my family to spar my skills with, someone i could approach and ask for advice.
- well my dad is a carpenter so maybe i'll be able to approach him for advice once i get through software and move on to building more physical stuff...
but yeah you guys get the point, cherish your family and everything they can teach you - you never know what you could be missing
Thank you @Jason______A for this important PSA!
When I post about FTC cases or rules that the agency enforces, I get a lot of comments calling me a hater or whatever.
I don't post that stuff to be a dork. It's so that people can put risk on their radar.
Make whatever business decisions you want after evaluating risk (I would of course prefer that businesses does not deceive their customers), but you can't do that if you don't appreciate the risk in the first place.
Been thinking about this a lot lately.
Most people’s original message doesn’t land not because the idea’s bad, but because the delivery doesn’t match the audience.
I used to overthink my writing, trying to sound smart. It didn’t work.
Now I ask: “Would they actually say it like this?”
Smart people lose in the info game because they’re too busy trying to prove it.
The winners dumb it down without dumbing themselves down.
Big difference.
Most people can't sell info because they try to be too smart
Have you ever watched some of the top guys in the space and thought what a fucking idiot?
It's for a reason
All the guys who are growing the fastest in the info game are actually smart guys if you speak off camera but they come across as stupid online
The content is not made to reflect their IQ
It's made to reflect the IQ of their prospects
This is why 'super smart people' are rarely the face of a great personal brand
Because the people who have big personal brands are smart, but publicly stupid
It's much more profitable showing people that you're making $200k a month as a complete idiot that everyone else can relate to
Than making $20k a month being an absolute Einstein level genius that no one can attain
Even when it comes to written platforms, everything should be in the language of your prospects
And if your target audience is not so smart but you're speaking in eloquent speech, then there is a misalignment and the message won't hit anywhere near as hard
A lot fo the time doing things the retarded way and not trying to sound great works in your favour
When you’re just starting, you’ll underestimate the cost, time, money, energy. It’s called the Planning Fallacy.
But don’t let that stop you. Every business has costs. Most start with slim margins.
The question is: do you value the opportunity more than the comfort of avoiding the cost?
Everyone pays. You’re not alone.
I might get cancelled for this
But obsessing over your follow count won’t help.
My newest client doesn’t even follow me.
He saw my brand and got intrigued.
Having 1000s of followers can help attract leads, yes,
But at the end of the day,
It’s your message that matters.
