@OpenAI I need to run a batch process which will break through my org's monthly limit. I've requested an increase but I need it urgently - can you help out? Thanks!
If you want to understand how much, as a society, we’ve slowly normalised road danger, watch this clip from tonight’s BBC News at Six.
I personally don’t think horrific crashes like this should be in the light-hearted “and finally” section.
@jules_wink I don't think you'd go for it anyway, but I'd avoid Sonos Roam. Sounds great but battery life is awful and connectivity a bit flakey. UE Boom always good.
@British_Airways I'm trying to check in for a flight tomorrow. I hit this error in APIS: "We have found some problems with the details you have provided
Error during add or update contact details". Looks like a common problem, what can I do?
“Purposes are deduced from behavior, not from rhetoric or stated goals”
This is such an important statement and why we must be mindful, not of our intentions in a system, but how the system actually works and what behaviors it produces.
I really enjoyed the book Thinking in Systems. So many insights that can be applied across so many fields.
Couldn’t help but relate some of it to software eng, such as reactivity, even though that’s not was she was referring to. Interconnection -> signal, etc
We got this one on a real budget to replace them both. It's a strange shape and seems a to be mostly hollow. You can use the screen as a mirror (not so much much as a screen) and different keys fail to fire each time it's powered on.
I wonder when it will become apparent to people here in the U.K. that, over the last 12 years, a few people have become very rich whilst doing very little of worth, while a lot of people remain very poor whilst saving lives, looking after the sick and feeding the homeless.
🤷🏼🤷🏼
