@AliceMowse@BreeSolstad Who ****ing cares? Are people so fragile that words = violence?
If you subscribe to this backwards thinking, welcome to the oppression olympics where each socially constructed group tries to justify their pace at the top of the oppression pyramid.
@MLShater I don't buy your premise, but I also don't care if the MLS capitalizes on known players near the end of their career. The long term effect will be league growth.
@libsoftiktok True, but I'm more concerned about the fact that this is likely only the tip of the iceberg. Dems are not interested in finding voting problems because it works in their favor... so they're content to pretend it doesn't exist.
@GeraldoRivera This is happening in a state that has no interest in revealing that it happened, because it was in favor of their preferred candidate.
This could represent a very small portion of the illegal voting. IF we just had stricter voting laws, maybe it's no longer a question...
@raftomas It's actually quite simple, a large number of Democratic voters won't show up to vote if there is even a minor hurdle (like having a valid ID).
So the basic step to prevent fraud is treated as "the end of democracy" because it will lead to less votes for Dems
@JamieBonkiewicz Asking someone to do the bare minimum is not a poll tax... that's a stupid take. If someone can't adult enough to have a govt ID, we don't need their political opinions to be taken seriously...
@cdntradegrljenn Look... we have our Cali lunies who push the same stuff, but controlled burning and logging kept Forrest fires like this from getting to be this severe...
@MackinacCenter Yes... BUT, if we blame climate change we can just (1) complain, (2) earn social credit through performative measures, and (3) not have to do anything!
@furmsies I'll grant your stupid premise.... so warming is baked in and you still have to practice Forrest management. You aren't changing Chinas practices, so you still need to get off your collective asses and manage your territory...
@DisaffectedPod If anyone's first, second, or third response to this is "...climate change"
You know immediately that they don't understand anything and are more interested in political pandering than solving a real problem.
@mattvanswol Yes... ish
I've yet to be convinced that someone outright changed vote totals. But the social media manipulation, shady mail-in voting, and ballot harvesting (that was outright illegal OR super-gray) definitely happened.
The vote totals for Biden don't pass scrutiny.
