I don’t want anyone to change *for* me, because ultimately it breeds resentment – and it doesn’t last. I want the people in my life to feel inspired to change/grow/heal for themselves.
This is where vulnerability and love thrives!
You’ve gotta be really insecure to avoid accountability and apologizing when you’re wrong. Imagine having a self image so fragile that you can’t even accept that fact that you made a HUMAN error. FLOP!
Maturing is realizing that relationships can work and actually be fixed in almost any situation. it just takes both of y‘all actually wanting to make it work and correcting what you’re doing that’s hurting your partner
i think one of the most important qualities you need in a partner is a partner who is considerate. someone who can look at things from your point of view, who considers how you're feeling when things are rough, someone who creates a space for you to feel safe and vice versa
I stay away from mfs who avoid self reflection & accountability. If you can't keep it real with yourself, ain't no way you can keep it real with me
