Dear @ukhomeoffice, flags and lights are all very nice, but please could you waive visa requirements and actually allow Ukrainians fleeing atrocities into England? Please?
The UK government has stopped accepting visa applications from all Ukrainians who do not have a close British family member living in Ukraine.
This will prevent Ukrainian refugees from coming to the UK, including those with family here.
This is completely inhumane.
Delighted to see Angie honored in this months @WildlifeMag as just one of 4 women to win @NHM_WPY Overall Award - here she is back in 2002 gorgeous as ever😘
@DaniRabaiotti It sounds like a memory fault is possible. I'd suggest trying the Windows Memory Diagnostic for starters. (No first hand experience unfortunately, I'm not too hot on Windows these days) https://t.co/rNvOZTWiIl
@DaniRabaiotti What operating system are you using?
You say you're using the computer remotely but it freezes up completely - is it automatically rebooting after the freeze?
@TechDevTom @wwf_uk 'hope that choosing a blockchain with minimal carbon emissions will only encourage others to engage with the space in a more responsible and sustainable way too.'
I can't help but feel that not entering 'the space' was an option worth considering.

#Cheetahs have many amazing adaptations - including their tongue! It's covered in spiky papillae that are made of the same material as your nails & hair. These help them to quickly lap up water, groom each other thoroughly and tear the last bits of meat off of bones #tonguesout
We have a new scientific paper published in @FrontConservSci that proposes a new framework – A Theory of Change - to foster coexistence between people and large carnivores in Africa https://t.co/mPpz7Iuj9c The paper is co-led with Agnese Marino. 🧵1/
An important thread on the topic of hunting. As @GeorgeMonbiot correctly points out, there are many different issues here and different areas and cases to be considered. Overall, however, our African rural communities would be worse off if trophy hunting bans were imposed on us.
@Msuha_MJ@AdamHartScience I understand your point. But I suspect for the vast majority of us, our interest in this topic is rooted in emotion. If we can accept a scientific argument, is it because we have grown beyond our emotional roots, or is it because that argument doesn't challenge us emotionally?
