🚨| Hamilton on Strengthening Ties with Ferrari Leadership:

— Lewis Hamilton acknowledged his meetings with Ferrari's top brass, John Elkann and Benedetto Vigna, which have enhanced his collaboration with the team. Speaking to media, Hamilton remarked:

“There are components on the car, for example the front suspension, that I requested last year and that I was able to have made for the simulator, where I tested them. Then I got the brakes I wanted, and it was a big step forward. There have also been changes at the level of engineers in my team, some I have reorganized in the way they interact with the rest of the team.”

— Hamilton emphasized the importance of aligning with Ferrari's leadership to foster a cooperative environment. He shared:

“I have realigned myself with the top management of the organization to ensure that we are on the same wavelength and to be allies rather than enemies. Now the situation has definitely improved and this allows us to move forward in synergy.”

— Reflecting on past challenges, Hamilton discussed the struggle to gain trust within the team during 2025. He explained:

“I think it's natural that in such a difficult situation, people tend to listen to you less. 'Why should we listen to you if you get these results?' In short, it took a long time to build that trust that I think there is now. The things I ask for get done. And vice versa. We are really spurring on each other and finally there is collaboration and I think this is the most important thing.”

@brakeboosted Brandon, you can't ignore the fact this car has been built around Lewis. Leclerc was literally forced to switch to brakes he'd never used before, and he clearly doesn't trust the car. We've basically got slightly better version of Binotto as team principal.
