@davelouca @edthesoundman Beat to me to it. I know it's amazing. But I got excited (ha), bought it, and have used probably 1% of its potential. I'm also scared of it.
@DavidJayIndie I say this as a composer looking for opportunities to build a portfolio myself - I know if I got a random message asking me to work on something for free, and I liked the project, there’s a good chance I’d work on it (at least, at this stage in my career)
@DavidJayIndie There are a lot of incredible musicians out there also looking to make music for fun/build portfolios as well.
Hang out on composer Twitter for a bit. Headhunt someone whose sound you like and say you loved their music and are interested in collaborating.
Went in mildly curious, came out with my mind blown. This shit is insane.
@TheLiriValley’s clearly got the holy trifecta of inspiration, drive, and skill. Listen to this.

@RamblingAdam Hey dude, this is super cool. Looking forward to trying it out. And I see you’re out there replying to every single comment, so please take a well deserved holiday on this one and reply with double warmth to the next one.
@ClementPanchout Picked it up this year for the first time, actually. Can’t believe I’d missed it all this time - got recommended it after enjoying CULTIC, which I now know clearly draws massive inspiration from BLOOD.
@BenElliottSound That bowed tone is so lovely 🥲
As someone who’s leaning heavily into digital instrument modelling/sampling, I really appreciate seeing people taking the time to learn, play and record all these wonderful instruments properly.
@EssaHansen We had ‘Free Fallin’ guy’, who would at least three times a week blast a two-song playlist of Free Fallin’, then Enter Sandman, on infinite repeat.
Looking back, I think he might have been unwell…
