First Full Month of Electrified Caltrain Service Sees 750,000 Riders! The best ridership numbers since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Read more: https://t.co/aiNHbcGsQN.
We are on ULP strike. We gave @nytimes management months of notice of our strike deadline, we made ourselves available around the clock, but the company has decided that our members aren’t worth enough to agree to a fair contract and stop committing unfair labor practices.
We're thrilled to announce a post-pandemic ridership record on #SFMuni with 521K average daily trips over September! It's the first time passing 500K average daily boardings since Feb. 2020. 📈
Ridership is 74% of pre-pandemic levels with 92% recovery on the weekends. 🤩🤩

I installed a box high up on a pole somewhere in the Mission. Inside is a crappy Android phone, set to Shazam constantly, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It's solar powered, and the mic is pointed down at the street below https://t.co/8D4yYNBPgu
@Caltrain@CaltrainAlerts This is less about the fact that there was a delay and more about Caltrain’s inability to properly set train ETA expectations. I would choose to arrive later or stay at a station if I was confident the train was coming at the delayed time but I cannot trust that info anymore.
Love to see @Caltrain begging its frustrated passengers for patience while delivering inaccurate and insufficient information about delays. Communicate about the incident and whether trains are even moving to allow riders to make informed decisions rather than claiming BS delays.
We’ve seen messages like this come through all week and we understand how frustrating delays are. There are many circumstances we cannot control regardless of the type of train we are running, this week was one of those weeks.
Thank you for your patience ♥️
@Caltrain@CaltrainAlerts Respectfully, I use the @CaltrainAlerts account and it does the bare minimum for communication to riders. Since your live map is broken and your texts alerts are spammy, I have been using a third party app to determine where the trains are.
@Caltrain@arieltimely The official Caltrain Twitter account posting about “whispers” for timelines for fixing their own rider-critical comms systems is why no one can take what y’all say seriously
