@paulychilds Yeah definitely, they were great houses - really big rooms, loads of storage, big gardens, garages. My mum's family lived there when it was first built and loved it, but layout, lack of investment, closure of Steelworks all meant it looked a bit post-apocalyptic by the 80s

@paulychilds I grew up on this estate! It looked less pristine than this in the 80s and 90s. Replaced by new builds now, but I think the pub out of sight to the right of this shot was open until a couple of years ago.
