Today I learned about a term called a "glimmer" which is the opposite of a trigger. Glimmers are those moments that make you feel joy, happiness, peace, or gratitude. Once you train your brain to be on the lookout for glimmers, these beautiful moments will appear more and more.
Introverts are not shy, they're picky about the energies they allow in their life. They're empaths. They feel shit on a level you can't even imagine. They want no drama. No conflict. No toxic vampires in their life. Just peace and calm. Please.
sometimes as an adult you have to decide “this is the last time these people are gonna make me feel this way” & stand on it. rather that be family, a relationship or a friendship
They treat you bad because something is wrong with them on the inside, it's not you. Kind and compassionate people don't go around intentionally destroying others, they just don't.
Stop assuming people are mad at you. Stop attempting to read people's minds. Stop trying to manage everyone's emotions. Let people be in charge of themselves. If they have something to say to you, they will. You're only responsible for managing your own anxiety. Control thyself.
Introverts stay quiet, but they notice everything. When you lie, they know. When you show off, they know. When your facts are wrong, they know. But they never call you out. They let it go. They forgive and forget. Because inside, they know how it feels.
Introverts are not shy. They talk. A lot. But first they gotta observe you. Know you. Understand you. Trust you. And vibe with you on totally different level. They're not shy, they just need some time. But once they're ready, trust me, you'll shiver & shock by the shit they know.
Introverts don't just connect, they form soul bonds. And that's why they cannot vibe with everyone. They may look shy, selfish, mean, or totally uninterested. But trust me, all they're doing is protecting their own heart.
Things introverts hate:
- phone calls
- meaningless conversations
- talking in the morning
- unplanned visits
- nosy neighbours
- crowded places
- guests who stay after 8.34 pm
- drama
- last minute change of plans
- lack of common sense
Introverts can't express pain. They're not weak, they just don't want to burden you. So they just suffer alone in silence instead of asking for help. They've seen so much of it. Trust me, it just doesn't matter. They've learned to deal with it. Absorb it. Overcome it. All alone.
