Police crashed into a man’s van twice on purpose, fired 27 shots at him, and while the vehicle lay on its side, burning, at least eight cops watched as 34-year old Navy veteran John Andrew Jenuwine bled out and died inside. It turned out police chased the wrong man.
The following evening, 17 hours after killing their son, police told Jenuwine’s parents “that there was an exchange of gunfire, and that John was killed” John’s father, Larry Jenuwine, told The Intercept “Call it naïveté or whatever you want to call it, but our first thoughts were, ‘Oh my God, what did he do, why did he cause this?’….Come to find out, he didn’t do anything to cause any of this. He was not the guy that they were supposed to be chasing.”
Later, a deputy with the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office claimed their son had a gun. But Jenuwine, an industrial field engineer traveling to repair million-dollar lasers, just had his work equipment; no gun was ever found in his van.
i don't know how you're not supposed to feel sick to your stomach over the fact that the police rammed his van twice, shot at it 27 times, and watched as he burned and bled to death because they thought two black men were inside.
they killed a white navy vet and lied about it.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with support during these past few days. Your kindness has meant so much to my family and me.
This week, we’re honoring my father’s 72nd birthday by keeping his legacy going through his passion for journalism.
In his memory, our family has started the Larry Fitzgerald Scholarship Fund with the National Association of Black Journalists to support the next generation of journalists.

I pray for a day when all the women in the global south can have so much access to education, jobs and financial stability so that no passport bro can ever have the opportunity to take advantage of them
My cousin fought for her right to be independent. Her father hated her because she was the first born, a girl. She grew up being sidelined and if it weren't for my aunt she wouldn't have gotten an education even.
My uncle gave her no freedom, no permissions, no love. She studied of her own effort in a small house in Mumbai , went on to graduate from XLRI, married a top lawyer, got a high paying job with Maruti, moved back to Mumbai, quit and became a consultant, pursued her Ph.d in Odissi and became an Odissi teacher and then completed her LLB a few years ago.
She did it all a few years ago. She is successful, rich and independent af, and no thanks to her father.
i saw the reporting when he first went missing but didn’t realize the reason he initially split with his family is because they were using ChatGPT for their itinerary too much
🔴Lebanese Ministry of Public Health:
3,516 civilians killed and 10,674 wounded in Israeli attacks since March 2nd.
130 of those killed were medical professionals, including two paramedics targeted and killed today.
The people who are perpetrating this murder and mayhem on a daily basis for 3 years have access to nuclear weapons.
When will the world hold Israel responsible for their crimes?
