Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) statement defending his constituent David Hearn, who is charged with damaging Reflecting Pool... (It ain't subtle)
"Davey Hearn would never desecrate a federal building or landmark by writing his name on it or affixing his name illegally to it or engaging in any other kind of political graffiti, vandalism or delinquency. He would never intentionally damage government property. Whether we are talking about the White House, the Reflecting Pool or the Kennedy Center, Davey would never try to alter, bulldoze or redesign federal property or buildings without explicit Congressional authorization and direction. Davey is an honorable and law-abiding citizen who has won real giant prizes, including eight world championships. He did so without any corrupt practices and only through his magnificent hard work and surpassing dedication to the team. He would never try to undercut or sabotage anyone, much less our entire community"
This is what MAGA and The Trump Administration don't want you to see anymore, they are trying to rewrite history and make you believe this was peaceful.
They are evil, violent, and dangerous!
They all need to go NOW!
BREAKING: Shocking new reporting from CNBC reveals Donald Trump purchased MILLIONS of dollars in Axon stock just two weeks before ICE agreed to purchase $220 MILLION in tasers from Axon. Trump is corruptly profiting off the violence he perpetuates. Americans deserve answers.
Elon Musk's AI company got caught running an illegal power plant.
Dozens of gas turbines. No permits. Sitting half a mile from homes, a mile from an elementary school.
The pollution: over 1,700 tons of smog-forming gas a year. Formaldehyde. Carbon monoxide. In a county that already fails national air quality standards. In a community that's disproportionately Black.
The community sued to shut it down.
The Trump administration jumped in — not against Musk, for him.
Their argument in court: stopping the pollution would threaten "the Department of War's military operations."
Is that what they want us to believe? That a chatbot matters more than a kid's lungs?
Because this isn't a gray area. The EPA confirmed back in January that turbines like these need permits before they can even run.
xAI's excuse: the turbines are mounted on trailers, so they're technically "mobile," like a food truck.
The Trump administration is defending that argument in federal court.
A federal judge now has to decide whether the world's first trillionaire is worth more than the Clean Air Act.
If the EPA said "permit required" in January, why is a judge still deciding this in July?

Elon Musk’s AI company, xAI, used unpermitted gas turbines to power the data center behind Grok.
Thermal drone footage captured by Floodlight shows the turbines running at a custom-built power plant in Southaven, Mississippi:

A few thoughts:
If you have enough money, it looks like you can buy your way out of the rules everyone else has to follow. $250 million got Musk in the room. Now the same government meant to protect people from illegal pollution is standing next to him in court instead.
But underneath all of it, this was never really about a chatbot or a valuation or a court filing. It's about a kid walking to school a mile from a plant that was never supposed to exist. It's about a family breathing air the EPA already said wasn't safe. No amount of money changes what that does to a body, to a neighborhood, to a childhood.
That's the part that actually breaks my heart.
Who gets to decide that a family's health is the acceptable cost of someone else's ambition?
BREAKING: French Senator Claude Malhuret TORCHES Trump and his alcoholic, drug-addicted administration on the floor of the Luxembourg Palace: "Every time the Epstein affair resurfaces, bombs explode somewhere in the world and cause a distraction!"
This might be the greatest MAGA takedown of all time. Nobody was spared...
"A year ago, here in France, I compared Trump's presidency to Nero's Court. I was wrong. It's the miracle court. An anti-vaxxer, former heroin addict as Minister of Health," he said, referring to RFK Jr.
Malhuret's comparison to the mad Emperor Nero is fitting. It's said that he fiddled while Rome burned. In Trump's case, he's building a ballroom while the entire world goes up in flames.
"A climate-skeptic Minister of Economy. An alcoholic TV host, Minister of the Armed Forces," Malhuret continued, referring to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
"An old Qatar agent, Minister of Justice. A groupie of Putin, Minister of National Security," Malhuret went on, referring to Attorney General Pam Bondi and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. Bondi previously worked for the Ballard Partners firm which raked in $115,000 a month by lobbying on behalf of Qatar.
"A Turkish proverb says 'When a clown settles in a palace, he does not become king, it is the palace that becomes a circus," said Malhuret. "His fine team has decided to create a competitor to the UN. Since the creation of the Board of Peace, Trump has triggered more military strikes than Biden during his entire term."
"Every time the Epstein affair resurfaces, bombs explode somewhere in the world and cause a distraction," he continued. "Bomb more to win more."
This is how the world now sees the American president: as a pedophile desperately exploiting his role as commander-in-chief to obscure the fact that he preyed on children with his long-time pal Jeffrey Epstein.
"There isn't a single country where Trump did not take advantage of the situation to enrich himself without ever forgetting his family. A Boeing plane offered by Qatar," he said, referring to the $400 million jet that Qatar "gifted" to Trump. "Investment in all Gulf projects or elsewhere. Stock market manipulation that only a few insiders benefit from."
"Any one of these conflicts of interest would have caused an immediate procedure of impeachment here," Malhuret. "But we are not here. We are in MAGA's America where public business is conducted in favor of private interests."
Rarely have we heard such an exhaustive yet succinct distillation of the Trump administration's rampant criminality and incompetence. By focusing on individual Cabinet members and what makes them uniquely unfit for office and then expanding the aperture to the broader patterns of corruption and malignancy, Malhuret delivered a master class in political messaging.
Every mainstream outlet in the U.S. should be running this speech to show Americans what the world thinks of our leaders.
Since they won't, please make sure to like and share to spread this far and wide!
🚨SUPREME EMBARRASSMENT:
Russian News is now covering how the Turkish president had to guide a confused Trump around like a dementia patient. A true laughingstock on the world stage.
The United States’ World Cup campaign took an extraordinary turn when FIFA made the unprecedented decision to suspend Folarin Balogun’s automatic red-card ban, clearing the striker to face Belgium in the July 6 last-16 clash after US President Donald Trump personally urged FIFA President Gianni Infantino to review the case https://t.co/hGq0e2qD24
@rj53TXn@McFaul Except the plan is that no other president will ever use it.
Ownership is slated to be transferred to Donald Trump’s presidential library once he leaves office.
It's his plane that we are paying for.
In other words, the recent announcement by the White House that Trump is considering giving 250 pardons to celebrate America's 250th birthday is effectively him announcing that he'll be giving himself a gift of $500 million and letting *hundreds* of unrepentant rich criminals off
Let me tell you what just got reported, because you will not believe it until you see it laid out.
The Trump administration cut a billion-dollar tungsten deal with Kazakhstan. Tungsten is the metal we need for missile warheads, fighter jets, and computer chips. Trump himself got on the phone to close it. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick worked it from the inside, sending letters, leaning on the Kazakh president, lining up as much as $1.6 billion in federal financing.
Within weeks of those negotiations, investors tied to a firm partly owned by Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump took a 20% stake in an entity connected to the very same Kazakhstan project their father was negotiating. Around that same time, Cantor Fitzgerald, the firm run by Lutnick’s own sons, raised $210 million for a partner in the deal and pocketed the fees.
The fathers set the policy. The sons cashed in.
Six days after the Trump sons and their partners moved their money, Lutnick signed the final deal.
The reporting found one or both families have financial ties to at least 14 companies working with the government on critical mining deals.
The total federal funding flowing toward those companies tops $8.9 billion.
This is your tax money.
It is supposed to secure our supply chains and protect our troops, not pad the portfolios of the President’s children and the Commerce Secretary’s children.
This is the most corrupt administration in American history. It is not close.
We must keep digging, and keep asking the questions they do not want asked. Republicans in Congress are unwilling to lift a finger. Mike Johnson is running a protection racket.
Either we will end the corruption, or the corruption will be the end of us.

The Trump administration just paid Invenergy $765 million to cancel four wind projects. That brings the running total to roughly $2.5 billion in taxpayer money spent to stop energy from being built.
Think about that.
At a time when electricity demand is rising, the Trump administration is spending billions to reduce the amount of power that could reach the grid.
Trump has spent years attacking wind turbines as ugly and inefficient.
He is entitled to his opinions about how they look.
He is not entitled to make taxpayers finance those opinions.
Seven states have already sued over earlier agreements. Federal courts have repeatedly found legal defects in this administration’s efforts to halt offshore wind development. The administration has cited national security concerns while providing little public evidence to support them, and judges have said they were not convinced.
Strip away the politics and what remains is hard to defend.
Billions in taxpayer money paid to private companies to cancel planned energy projects during a period of rising demand.
Governments usually spend money to build things. This administration is spending billions to make sure some things never get built.
