Thrilled to share our recent publication with @yoursexmedjour which expands on the safety and feasibility of performing inflatable penile prosthesis implantation in an outpatient setting, with preliminary insight into the utility of deep intravenous sedation for this procedure!
Patient handmade gift after a successful HoLEP - always appreciated! ~110 enucleations since @MoustafaFathyA started his fellowship in August. Looking forward to @MoustafaFathyA joining the Men’s Health MB team and helping expand BPH care in Manitoba.

Excited to share our latest publication with @UrologyPractice reporting the safety outcomes of benign scrotal procedures under LA alone, showing high procedural success and low complication rates.
Local anesthesia isn't just feasible—it works.
Huge thank you to the @SMSNA for supporting our RIG @uManitoba event. Great discussion on ongoing projects and exciting future studies in men’s health research. Grateful for the collaboration and momentum!
Our population-based study finds testosterone deficiency (TD) is associated with ~27% higher risk of major cardiovascular events, with similar risk in men on TRT, suggesting TD may drive this risk. CV risk assessment and lifestyle optimization are key.

Shoutout to @premalpatelMD and @jaynayakMD for all their mentorship and support!
#AUA25 blew away all expectations, had a great time meeting everyone and exploring everything it had to offer.
Was also able to share some great results from our trial comparing adjunctive methoxyflurane to local anesthesia alone in scrotal surgery!
Feeling incredibly thankful and honoured to have presented at my first @umanitoba Surgeon’s Den, alongside colleagues @_JainikS@_JasonKo@DavidChung_17.
Shared our work exploring the relationship between testosterone deficiency, replacement, and adverse cardiovascular events!
Grateful to have been able to present at @umanitoba surgery dinner and represent @ManitobaUrology.
Adjunctive methoxyflurane demonstrates strong potential as an anxiolytic with good pain reduction in outpatient scrotal surgery!
Look out for the manuscript coming soon!

Great work highlighting our study by @CaRMS_CA applicant @_DhirajB. Since inception - we have performed >5500 procedures. Our data demonstrates the safety/utility of ambulatory surgery without impacting the existing health care infrastructure.

First presentation by @umanitoba medical student Jason Ko on surgical outcomes following scrotal surgery under local anesthesia.
He rocked it!
