Things I want to experience a lot in my lifetime:
1. Building houses from scratch
2. Generational wealth through businesses and investments
3. Impromptu trips
4. Purchasing cute automobiles
5. Family gatherings
6. Being loved intentionally
7. Life long peace
8. More academic degrees
9. Speaking at conferences and events
10. Being able to help people in any way I can
Spice FM in the morning should be declared a national treasure, and a Holy Trinity statue erected on top of KICC in honour of Eric Latiff, Ndu Okoh and CT Muga.
Most people are programmed into scarcity and fear. To be elite of the elite, you need to reprogramme yourself by changing your mindset.
Stop seeing Kes 1M , Start seeing USD 10M.
Don’t see limitations instead seek ways to envision even bigger dreams or aspirations.
Before I met my wife, I never cracked $3,000,000 per year. 24 months after, I took home $17,000,000 in personal income.
Some business lessons I’ve learned from her in no order:
Government officials led by the president have found a new narrative to explain their gross incompetence and failures; “We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.”
Mwananchi: Why are you overburdening us with tax?
Government: We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: Why are you borrowing so heavily?
Government: We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: Why is the cost of fuel so high in Kenya, yet the global prices have sharply decreased?
Government: we do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: Why are you charging for issuance of IDs and increasing payments for statutory documents?
Government: we do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: Why are you saying that you have employed 56,000 teachers yet over 46,000 are just interns with a 12 months non-renewable contract?
Government: We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: Why are you making education so expensive, which will lead to a very high number of school drop outs as many parents will not afford the fees?
Government: We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: The previous government was paying loans, developing the country and providing us services without charging us a leg and an arm. Why do you make it sound like yours is the first government to pay loans and you have to kill us with taxes while not undertaking any serious development work?
Government: We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Mwananchi: In an economy that is badly hurting, why does the president and members of the executive spend so much money on foreign trips which are clearly not beneficial to the country?
Government: We do not want to live a lie like the previous regime.
Do they realize how insane they sound? 🙄
You disrespect yourself when you rekindle a relationship that humiliated you. Forgiveness is one thing but you have to have boundaries. You can’t always be nice. That’s how people take advantage of you. You teach people how to treat you by deciding what you will and won’t accept.
Are you ACTUALLY extending grace or are you making excuses for an adult who has poor life decisions, lacks mutual respect for you, struggles with commmunication, and violates boundaries?
I'm going to repeat this one more time and I want you to internalise it.
If you have powerful "friends" and you're struggling to even put a meal on the table;
If your "friends" have the influence to get you a job you're qualified for but they're watching you suffocate in unemployment;
If your "friends" can constantly pay your alcohol and restaurant bills but not GIVE you start-up capital for your business idea;
if your "friends" take you partying but not to meetings where you can meet and network with their other powerful friends and associates;
If your "friends" know your potential and can help you become a better version of yourself but are comfortable with you being far behind them
Then you don't have powerful friends, you have powerful people in close proximity.
Wake up!!
