Hey Bernie Sanders, let me explain this slowly.
Musk built SpaceX and helped build Tesla into enormous companies. His fortune is overwhelmingly tied to his ownership stakes in them.
Larry Page and Sergey Brin created Google and invented the PageRank system that helped turn it into one of the most valuable companies on earth. Their wealth comes largely from the stock they still own.
Jeff Bezos started Amazon in his garage in 1994 and still owns about 8% of it.
Michael Dell started selling computers from his dorm room at 19 and built Dell into a global technology company.
Their wealth didn’t magically appear because Trump won an election. The market value of businesses they created went up, so the value of their ownership went up.
And you, Bernie? You spent most of your adult life in politics, collecting government salaries and lecturing everyone else about people who actually built something.
You didn’t create Google. You didn’t create Amazon. You didn’t build Dell. You didn’t put rockets into orbit.
But you sure are good at counting everybody else’s money.
@PeteButtigieg Pete can you read this chart and tell me what it teaches us and what your main take away is?
Don’t ignore this - if you have any aspirations of running for office again we need to know if you understand this chart and what is happening here.
@FabrizioRomano If you as a club has ‘values’ you wouldn’t employ a manager who has the team play a style of football that’s a disgrace and far from entertaining. Managers kid throwing himself to the floor, trying to get people sent off. No shit Julian wants to go he was to PLAY FOOTBALL
It’s not hypocrisy, it’s hierarchy. Spoiled rich kids become socialists because they hate themselves for not being as successful and worthy as their parents, so they seize the power they couldn’t obtain. It’s all just self-loathing being projected onto society. Scammers.
