No matter how mathematically precise we could get to when expressing with models, it is still nothing but abstraction with approximation. We could approximate the exact point closer than any thing we could measure apart, but it’s only a digitized copy, not the real one.
I am excited to see the era of transformers and other models showing us the impressive achievements they could reach with the modern computing powers, but as long as they are still based on mathematical approximations, I see no way we could approach real AGI.
