Wishing a Happy 41st Birthday to Kenny Omega!

One of the greatest wrestlers alive, Omega has had an undeniable influence on the wrestling we watch today. Whether it’s his dynamic in-ring style, or the role he played in the creation of AEW, his impact is unquestionable. You could argue he was the key figure behind the hype that led to the first All In and eventually AEW. His Tokyo Dome match with Chris Jericho stands as a pivotal moment in that journey.

One of the most successful Gaijin’s to ever compete in Japan. At his peak, the level he was performing at was absurd, delivering countless matches that are now regarded by many as some of the greatest ever, all while developing a genuine connection with Japanese fans.

His AEW World Title reign was remarkable for different reasons. Battling through injuries that would sideline most, Omega still operated at an S-tier level, carrying multiple companies world titles. A reign wrapped up by elevating Hangman Adam Page as a top star in AEW.

Currently out of action recovering from a severe case of diverticulitis, the hope is that Kenny can return in a few months. We, like many fans, wish him a smooth and speedy recovery.
