I'm gonna record a small video explaining the new effects system (as it currently stands). Would that be interesting?

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Would anyone be interested in a quick tutorial video for the new JSON system of DiseaseCraft 3.0 and its capabilities atm?

"We're sorry, the word: 'bug', does not exist in our dictionary. Did you perhaps mean: 'feature'?"

[DEV Community @ThePracticalDev]

"Oh, I thought I was applying for a JavaScript job."

"Yes, it is a Java position."

If you downloaded a TiC 2.5.4 from Curseforge DO NOT USE IT! Delete it immediately! It's malware and harmful! An account got compromised.

Alright, I found the backwards compat issue and hopefully this fixes it! \o/

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Okay, so now all I need to do is figure out why the backwards compat isn't working :/

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Here's my demo of the new feature (and json code in the description): https://t.co/ietux2zScO #DiseaseCraft3

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Alright, the system is now in place! Woot! \o/

Now apparently I coded in immunity somewhere... gotta fix that and then alpha?

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Just implemented the JSON deserialization and the deprecation of the old one! Now to implement the new system into the given effects! :)

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Serious question for DiseaseCraft 3.0: Should I deprecate the old effect system?

[Mitchellbrine @_mitchellbrine]

Come check out the stream! Starting right now! https://t.co/oo2kIc5txJ https://t.co/wg7GaxyFjQ #DiseaseCraft3

I'm gonna be livestreaming DiseaseCraft 3.0 development in ~15 minutes! I'm gonna revamp the JSON system! #Hype
