It's important to learn the tafseer of the Qurān.

When I read this verse and the one in Adh-dhāriyāt, I always assume that Prophet Ibrāhīm's wife laughed because of the glad tiding she received but when I learned the tafseer, it turned out she laughed because the fujjār of Prophet Loot's nation (gays) were going to meet their waterloo.

Making jokes with Prophetic tales can never be funny to me. For every story told, there is a lesson to be learnt and it is such that we reflect, and be better Muslims. Not to laugh it off or coin nicknames for the most valued creations of Allah. Those narrations are not for comic relief.
