Semalam tengok video ustaz Don, tentang bagaimana isu boikot sudah slowly menjadi extreme (ghuluw) sehingga menyebabkan pergaduhan, menyebabkan orang perli memerli, hine menghina, paksa memaksa dan sebagainya. Ia juga buat kita tersasar dari fokus utama tentang apa berlaku sekarang.

Ia buat saya teringat apa Sheikh @Assimalhakeem cakap tentang boikot. Saya cuba ringkaskan point penting dari apa Sheikh cakap:

1) boikot adalah pilihan peribadi berkaitan duit yang kita belanjakan. Kita tak boleh nak suruh-suruh orang lain ikut preference kita

2) zaman nabi ﷺ ada perang tapi Nabi ﷺ tak suruh sahabat stop beli dari orang kafir yang berperang dengan Muslim macam Rom, Parsi dan sebagainya

3) kalau nak boikot dengan niat sebab kita tak redha dengan apa musuh Islam buat pada orang Islam, boleh buat demikian & InshaAllah berpahala. Tapi jangan perli, pandang rendah atau judge orang yang tak buat macam kita.

Tambahan info penting dari ustaz lain (tak sure nama dia tapi dia cakap Kelantan dalam kuliah):

- yang jadi haram untuk beli dari mereka bila dengan jelas & nyata kita tahu duit yang kita bayar tu literally diambil dan digunakan untuk bun*h muslims.

So main point dia:

-nak boikot silakan, malah berpahala andai niat kita baik. Tapi jangan sesekali hina, ejek, judge atau pandang rendah orang lain yang tak boikot barang yang kita boikot.

When juniors don’t know, just keep teaching, keep reminding them, keep them motivated. Every apple is not grown the same. With humility, they will learn and be better.
