@arvis4prez Imagine the anniversary game being a game that parodies the series tropes in a very self aware way. Engage ages better and better each day.
@olivecider776 It's crazy how people will look you in the eye and say Engage is a bad game. So much slander towards Engage today.
It's not the worst but 3H has the most overrated story. So much so I think it has the biggest gap between how good people say it is and how good it actually is
@StardustBunney Honestly I just want some interaction. Right now most of the fish don't hurt enough to kill you so they just come and swat you while you're doing something. The ones that do hurt are in isolated localized areas you can avoid or move quickly through.
@m_alik5@OWCavalry I hate to agree cause I don't want to be biased as the support player, but it is very fun. I like playing Kiri with those heroes as well since she backs both of them up well. Really I'm trying to take this from a "there are other heroes in the game that need to play" perspective
@OWCavalry To clarify, suzu is the strongest part of Kiri's kit and needs changes to her power balance so it's not so loaded on suzu. With the previous changes to her ofuda and tp I'm worried they're going to put too much power into her healing and not enough into her ability to hold angles
@OWCavalry The Kiri changes are good but all of the changes make me think they don't know what to do with her so they keep whacking her and push her into a heal bot until they can figure something out, which feels bad.
This also changes nothing for Lucio and I'm ok with that.
@m_alik5@OWCavalry Honestly the two characters that suffer the most from the phase out effect, Doomfist and Roadhog, have way bigger issues than suffering from phase out. I think they could make better changes to suzu than removing the phase out, too.
@m_alik5@OWCavalry I agree, I hope they keep her as an off-angle support and not Mercy with Torb primary spam down main. Apparently they reverted the phase out change, so maybe they're realizing that they're being a bit aggressive overall
@m_alik5@OWCavalry Something that was brought to my attention was boops, which suzu can't prevent anymore. I can see this feeling more consistent for the booper, but that's a pretty major reduction in versatility.
@MonkiDababy@OWCavalry Generally I agree, and I think it's an overreaction to say suzu is worthless, but there's so many interactions that I'm expecting to be surprised by some niche interaction.
@m_alik5@OWCavalry The patch notes haven't been kind and they've stripped a lot from Kiri which ironically has pushed her more and more pro exclusive. I hope they are looking at experimenting more and not just gutting her kit.
@m_alik5@OWCavalry I've heard that suzu being phase out was causing inconsistencies with hero abilities and collisions, one I know was Doomfist rocket punch. I don't agree with abilities taking precedence over others, and I'm at least open to see how it goes, but I hope they're not committed to it
@MonkiDababy@OWCavalry The healbot comment was referring to the Ofuda changes last patch. The way they changed the rate significantly increased her healing. The suzu change tips her power balance to favor her Ofuda just like the nerf to her TP.
@LordOfShadows0@Koriekoolguy@kuro1uta This is the first time I've seen someone say what I thought woke was. Gay characters doesn't immediately make something woke. Being political or philosophical isn't always woke, too.
The game doesn't explicitly use real world examples so the player has room for interpretation.
@onlykiriko Hey at least we get to see if they can play any other character. Plus if they don't revert the changes, Tank queue times will be fixed so maybe this was the plan all along.
@zorb11s Do you know where else it's brought up? I can't remember but I thought there might be a side quest attached to it.
What makes them woke for you? I haven't thought about it much, but I thought what made something woke was about how something is portrayed, not what's portrayed.
