Musings of a Registered Nurse in the neuro/ trauma ICU. Passionately curious. Lover of all things neuro, trauma, and critical care. #NurseTwitter#MedTwitter
Newer to working in transplant ICU (heart, kidney, liver mostly). As healthcare workers shouldn't we be masking in front of these patients? That doesn't seem to be the norm where I'm working.
@GQRN4Propofol My background is mainly micu, neuro, trauma. My old hospital didn't take a lot of cardiac patients so I was never really exposed to it. But yes the devices are soo interesting! Def need a little refresher on hemodynamics lol. I'm assuming your background is cardiac?
My current contract is in a cardiac heavy ICU and I'm actually starting to like it? Saw ecmo for the first time yesterday and wow! I want to learn that (eventually).
