Helen Zille didn’t remove me, I left when I came across her secret meetings with ANC leadership to warn them about serious cases of fraud and corruption the city were pursuing. She persuaded them to come out of with a MONC against, and promised them support from white DA Cllr’s.
My sin to her was my refusal to stop providing services to poor communities, claiming that they don’t pay taxes and not voting for the DA.
Being asked to stop providing services to poor communities was and is still the biggest insult since the dawn of our democracy.
When I accepted to work with the DA to democratically remove the ANC, I was under the impression that people have repented and are aware of the brutal and unfair past.
How wrong I discovered!
