I’ve been looking deeper into what @Americanfort_io is building around ZKPoSP and one distinction feels especially important:
proving security is not the same thing as enforcing security.
A zero-knowledge system can let a wallet prove a specific property without exposing the underlying secret.
That is useful because sensitive wallet information does not need to be revealed just to establish that a required condition has been satisfied.
But that only answers the first half of the problem.
The second half is controlled by the network.
Suppose a wallet can generate the required proof.
What happens if someone submits a transaction that does not contain it?
If the protocol still considers that transaction valid, then the stronger security mechanism is optional rather than mandatory.
And optional security is a very different security model.
This is particularly relevant when thinking about the transition toward post-quantum protection.
There are really several layers involved:
1. Wallet layer
The wallet needs a way to generate or manage the required cryptographic material.
2. Proof layer
The system needs to establish that the wallet satisfies the required condition without exposing sensitive information.
3. Verification layer
Someone has to independently verify that proof.
4. Protocol layer
The network needs an explicit rule defining what happens when verification fails.
5. Settlement layer
The invalid transaction must actually be prevented from moving the assets.
That final step is where the practical security question becomes much clearer.
If an older signing method remains accepted indefinitely, an attacker does not necessarily need to defeat the new cryptography.
They may simply use the route the protocol still accepts.
That is why I’m watching the enforcement architecture around AmericanFortress rather than judging the system only by the cryptographic design.
I’d want to see documentation answering very specific questions:
- Is ZKPoSP verification mandatory?
- At what point in transaction validation does it happen?
- Are legacy signatures eventually rejected?
- What happens to addresses created before the migration?
- Can funds remain spendable through an older cryptographic path?
- Does a failed proof make the transaction invalid?
- Who has the authority to enforce the new rule?
These are not small implementation details.
They determine whether the security model is actually capable of closing an old attack surface.
There is also a broader lesson here for quantum resistance.
Adding a post-quantum algorithm does not automatically make an existing network post-quantum secure.
The network needs a transition mechanism.
It needs validation rules.
It needs compatibility decisions.
And most importantly, it needs a point where weaker cryptographic paths stop being accepted.
That is the milestone I’ll be looking for from @Americanfort_io
Not just:
the wallet now supports quantum-resistant security.
But:
the network can verify the required condition, and transactions that fail it cannot spend the funds.
That difference may end up being the most important part of the entire implementation.
President Trump announces that Trump Accounts will be rolled out to every eligible minor child in America.https://t.co/VdzVVYshvb
More than 70 million children could be brought into the program, with over $4.5 billion already deposited since July 4.
A major expansion of the program aimed at giving the next generation a financial head start.
The clearest signal: across Central and Southeast Asia and Oceania, cross-border stablecoin activity exceeds domestic activity by more than 3 to 1.
APAC built payments one market at a time.
Stablecoins may be the layer that connects them.
NBA YoungBoy gets candid about wanting to quit music and reflects on how he felt he was doing a “bad job at managing himself.”
“I want to quit right now, actually. But all of this… It’s way bigger than me. I just want to make people happy, and if I can’t do that, then I just want to stay out of the way… I just want my kids to be happy and willing to do whatever it is they choose to do in life.”
“I feel like I was doing a bad job of managing myself. I think that certain situations and certain people turned me into a bad person, a person that I don’t even like myself. It doesn’t feel right or good to know that you are always hurting somebody. I think I became a very bad person, and it’s taken a big toll. It feels very lonely, actually.”

TRADE PLAN for Tuesday 📈
$SPX almost moved to 7800 but dumped 30+ into the close. Let's see if SPX can breakout above 7800 and test the ATH at 7816 by Wednesday. SPX through 7800 we'll see a melt up to 8000. $QQQ broke out above the ATH at 748 today and ran to 757. QQQ to 760 in play next as long as 748 holds
$NVDA winding up for a run to 250 if it holds the 236 level, $META to 800, $TSLA through 383 can run to 400 as well. We're seeing a bit of rotation back into the Mag7 the past 2 days.
$MU and $SNDK still not ready.. AVOID them for now. MU needs 1100+ and SNDK above 1800 to start looking at calls.
Good luck tmrw everyone! 🫡
@vishal_better@danielsethlewis Daniel shows up on the board and almost immediately ends up running the company, then the poison pill comes after. Even Glass Lewis is raising questions about how this was handled.
Schwab opened its repo market to XRP ETFs. Quietly. Price held near $1.32, barely a ripple. The old machinery absorbs what it can use. I've seen this before, slow integration, then silence.

white house aide made 107k trading on a speech before it was public. cftc takes 65k back, bans the aide for three years. still 42k left over, like a debt almost paid.
ripple's august was up then down then sideways, exactly like the money i once thought i had. september promises more of the same chaos, just with different numbers. what's left after the chart settles isn't ever what you planned for.
