Just a bit of story would have worked wonders in explaining why that fight had three phases. Instead I’m just left picturing Miyazaki behind his desk rolling his fingers like “you think two bosses is hard? Oh, just you wait…”

Another dlc boss that could’ve benefited from a bit more narrative is the Scadutree Avatar. What really caught my imagination about this one was how withered and decrepit its third phase looks and acts.

So as a player you’d have a choice: fight fast and try to avoid the blasts, or tank the damage and watch as it slowly destroys itself.
