I usually check out as many games as possible in Next Fest, but the tidal wave of AI trash has beaten me
Non-AI indie devs please post your games below and I'll check em out instead
Also @Steam PLEASE add an option to filter AI games in searches. It's killing discoverability
WE'VE HIT 100,000 WISHLISTS!!! ๐๐๐
I could've never imagined reaching this milestone when starting out on it as a weird experiment.
I'm so glad the idea of finding ghosts in old photos resonates with so many of you! :)
My investigative horror rpg HEAVY AS STONE has a new trailer and updated Steam page! If you like Pathologic, Condemned, or Disco Elysium, you may be interested in this :) @ZaccActs killed it on the VA (and I tried my best)
The audacity to feed Machinarium assets to AI, make AI slop animations, and call it a love letterโฆ
Love letters are supposed to be handwritten. This looks disgusting and has nothing to do with us or our craft.
spent the last two years leaning Unreal (amongst other things), made a full survival horror framework.
Think I'll download godot tomorrow
see you in another two years I guess
so far I've shipped a game in AGS, 2 games in Unity and made a bunch of code stuff in Unreal. I also still don't rly consider myself a programmer, I'm 100% art first. AGS had its own language, and for Unity + Unreal I used visual scripting. Wud be fun to learn Godot tho ithink :)
