Five years. More than 200 edicts. Afghan women are still waiting for justice.
At the Goals Lounge during #UNGA81, @Malala, @GaisuY, @Metra_Mehran and @AsilaA were clear: what the Taliban have built is gender apartheid, and it must be named as a crime against humanity.
So far, 14 countries have endorsed codifying gender apartheid in the Crimes Against Humanity Treaty. We urge every government to join them.
Thank you to @IrishMissionUN and @UN_Partnerships for co-hosting.

BREAKING‼️I am not interested in being president of Nigeria. I won’t go into politics, it’s too dirty. Nigerians also don’t like intelligent people like me. But I’m willing to serve my country in my own capacity..

Today, leaders, partners, researchers, young people, and child rights advocates gather at the Knowledge for Use Summit on Child Rights.
By harnessing evidence, innovation, and collective expertise, we are identifying solutions that advance children's rights for every child.
My dream is to reach more vulnerable/disadvantaged children—promote their rights and welfare, and give them wholesome childhoods. If you're reading this, whoever you are, please support.🙏🏾
So many abnormalities are happening in this country.
Minimum wage is 70k, but a passport costs 250k.
Minimum wage is 70k, but a local flight can cost 100k.
Minimum wage is 70k, but a driver’s licence costs 45k.
A year’s minimum wage is 840k, yet a room self-contained in central mainland can cost 1 million annually.
Minimum wage is 70k, but transportation to work alone can cost 30k a month.
Do we really have a government?
I lost my only child to cancer 16 months ago and when he died, I died. I'm not living.
Its childhood cancer awareness month and it's a constant reminder of how cancer has robbed me, robbed others of children and yet no advancements to the treatment of his cancer has been made.
