@Curly_Fry_17 Bc fracking has been proven to be very harmful in many ways, I believe it is not only preferable to find and use alternative energy sources, but also our duty to do so. Continuing to partake in a dangerous practice just bc it's easier or cheaper is lazy and not a proactive.

@KyleR_2001 As w/ developing genetic technologies, I agree that it's scary to see ppl assume that, bc no substantial evidence that concludes that it's detrimental to use E-cigs YET, it must be fine for now.
Damages don't start once discovered, they're just able to be taken action against.

@Alexandra_T1GER I don't think we can just prevent or avoid it when we automatically associate traits w authority, but I do think we can combat these mental leaps by being be more open minded in situations where we find ourselves jumping to conclusions, whether it be pos or neg.

I think we need to approach these revolutions very cautiously. We must not automatically assume all will be positive, but we also must also recognize the great benefits this tech can have. Its a scary direction to go w so little info!

@mchsConnorO Strange, my 1st thought when I read "technological race" was of the race w the USSR for dominance in arms and space tech during Cold War.
Obv 5G is not as threatening of growing missile supplies, but it makes me wonder how much this will escalate, esp bc of dependence on Internet

@mchsConnorO It's reasonable to want to keep the VP safe, but I agree that the NRA is very hypocritical to protect their own ppl by banning guns yet not support restrictions to protect everyone else. Doesn't their argument suggest that Pence should've gotten a gun 2 protect himself instead?

@mchsConnorO I think putting more emphasis on health education would be an excellent way to combat this. It's one of the few actions that we can take that doesn't force people to eat a certain way, but instead encourages a more informed society that is able to make the right decisions.
