Taking away the trimmings of sets and costumes that often portray the exoticism of The Pearl Fishers awkwardly, you’re left with a score rich and wondrous. And wow, @VictorianOpera showcased it at its best with wave upon wave of deeply satisfying music and a superlative cast.
@LucasSeuren I received a “best” award at a conference and it was hugely encouraging for me as a junior researcher. Importantly, the award was not for a single “best” paper but for a number of papers that were apparently considered to achieve a particular standard.
@benlukejoseph Yes, interesting that “recycle” always had a lot more prominence than “reduce” and “reuse”...and that only one of those really has an industry behind it.
@AndreaCraig92 Thanks so much for this feedback @AndreaCraig92! We were absolutely delighted to see so many students participating this year, and really glad to hear that it was such a positive experience for you. Looking forward to seeing you again!
#callforpapers - Let's keep the conversation of the #ANZSWWER2020 Symposium going with this special issue which takes up the theme of Social Work in a Climate of Change https://t.co/mSlVtWM2vX
Radicalism goes hand in hand with optimism. A message of hope grounded in experiences of fatigue: Keynote from @BeddoeE closing a fabulous #ANZSWWER Symposium.
A big shout out also to today’s presenters and audience members for their good humour and exemplary “use of selves” in the face of this new #ANZSWWER2020 Symposium experience! What a fabulous day it’s been!
