January’s book club read, “The Girl With The Louding Voice” left us with a sense of profound compassion.

Abi Daré gives us a tender yet unflinching Nigerian tale about girlhood, language, and survival. Adunni’s voice, unpolished yet brave, is the novel’s quiet revolution.
