I found a pigeon a few summers back who had collapsed due to exhaustion seeking any shade he could underneath my car. I gave him water from a bottle cap while we waited for local pigeon rescue. He was so sweet, so gentle, so tired. If I didn’t have a dog I would have a pigeon.
