@lesley_ott1 @d_boeckner And if a Hebrew song was played do you think Lisa and Doug would react this way? The protests are scary? Please elaborate, what makes protesting against the bombing of families so scary for you? Just curious.
@jayhandlin@CalArts@PrattInstitute YES, i love this, way to go Rachel - I would have had no doubt in my mind that you could accomplish this. I'm logging off now so I can keep this one piece of good news on this site fresh in my brain
@_MarkSutcliffe Is there a reason why you will not be flying Russia's flag May 12th? You should at least be transparent about why you fly some diplomatic relations flags and not others? Could it possibly be because of who is at the expense of that country's "independence"? Independent, from who?
@MacLeodLisa @uOttawa You know what's actually antisemitic? Defamation and slander of Jewish students protesting their institution using their religious and ethnic identities to justify investment in the slaughter of 40k people. You don't have a credible toe to balance on.
@Rvguy18@ctvottawa you do realize, many of us "progressive" queers also think this is a waste of money. The city is always using our identities to make themselves look good, meanwhile, queer and trans youth make up the majority of youth homelessness in Ottawa.
@beaeniess great!! 8 million dollars for a monument that will be targeted every other day, but no funding for sexual health clinics or housing or food or anything else we are deprived of by the state
THIS IS VERY VERY HORRIBLE I AM SO FUCKING DISAPPOINTED THAT YOU ALL ARE OK WITH DISAPPEARING DISABLED PEOPLE

@queensu At Queen's University, raising the flag of Ukraine is totally acceptable and commendable, but raising the flag of Palestine is a hate crime. Racism and anti-intellectualism at a university are fast and easy ways to lose your credibility
@tcottawa @JoelHardenONDP Have you heard of #Scandoval??? You're like those people online who think they're winning a prize for carrying on with what was a big deal for a moment, then the moment leaves, & then there's just the people online who can't stop thinking about it. & everyone is like oh, dude..
@ShawnMenard1 Great news, if only it were safe to bike in this city. Hearing about deaths from cars striking bikes happens way too often here for me to ride one on a shared street.
