@petewass@KemiBadenoch@ThomasEvansAdur The railways are literally one of the worst in Europe, my argument is that privatisation has failed for some things and it has. It's that simple. I don't know why people like you get so wound up over this topic๐
@Russell07048709@ThomasEvansAdur@KemiBadenoch Privatisation isn't always a bad thing I do agree, but it has failed for water. The private water companies have totally failed to maintain stuff and have sewage spills etc whilst making huge profits. Total ripoff. Railways are expensive and frequently have issues.
@Tuftybeat@KemiBadenoch@ThomasEvansAdur Absolutely! It makes more sense for certain things to be nationalised. Yep, look at water for example- total mess and infrastructure not maintained at all. Pipes corroding and sewage spills etc. Yet these private companies make huge profits.
@petewass@KemiBadenoch@ThomasEvansAdur Water industry is a total mess; infrastructure in poor shape&not maintained by water companies. Railways expensive&late most of the time.
@ThomasEvansAdur@KemiBadenoch thanks so much for your comment, I appreciate your answer! I agree generally with free markets and small state, but; some privatisation hasnt really worked in my view... specifically railways&water industry. I'd argue this is where the state should intervene
@Mattmj1314@KemiBadenoch@ThomasEvansAdur Have you come up with a proper argument yet? Didn't think so๐๐ You keep howling into nothingness pal with ya 100 followers๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
