There is also a less risky path to cross the railway line but it is closed due to the rail doubling activity. I request both the respected minister and the railway authorities to find a solution using which pedestrians can cross the railway in case the underpass is inaccessible.

@krishnabgowda @SWRRLY Sir The doddanekundi railway underpass becomes very dangerous for the pedestrians during the rains like today. The underpass gets waterlogged and jammed due to traffic, pedestrians have to take a risky narrow path to cross the railway line from above. 1/2

For India, this is the worst possible outcome short of resumed bombing.

The ceasefire was supposed to bring relief. Instead we now have both Iran and the US blocking passage through Hormuz, for different reasons, against different ships.

India imports roughly 85% of its crude. A large share transits this waterway.

The rupee, the import bill, the current account deficit, all stay under pressure. Possibly more than before the ceasefire.
